Hal ini diperkuat pula oleh hadist yang dikeluarkan Ibnu Abi Syaibah, dari Abu Hurairah, dimana Rasulullah Shallallahu ‘Alaihi Wasallam berada di (dekat) jenazah. Lalu Umar melihat seorang perempuan, lalu ia (Umar) berteriak kepada wanita itu. Maka Nabi Shallallahu ‘Alaihi Wasallam bersabda: “Biarkanlah dia, wahai Umar.”

Hadits ini mengandung makna, bahwa wanita itu dibolehkan Nabi Shallallahu ‘Alaihi Wasallam untuk turut mengantar jenazah ke kubur. Kalau sekiranya haram, niscaya tidak ada wanita di dekat jenazah itu dan niscaya Nabi Shallallahu ‘Alaihi Wasallam tidak akan melarang Umar Radhiyallahu ‘Anhu berteriak memperingatkan wanita tersebut.

Larangan wanita untuk turut mengantarkan jenazah ke kuburan sesungguhnya terkait dengan kekhawatiran bahwa wanita tersebut akan menangis menjerit-jerit atau bahkan memukul-mukul badan dan merobek kain yang dipakainya. Kita ketahui bersama bahwa wanita adalah makhluk yang diciptakan berhati lembut. Ia akan merasa cepat sedih akan segala kemalangan yang menimpanya. Apalagi jika orang-orang yang dikasihinya pergi diwafatkan oleh Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala mendahului hidupnya.

Hal itulah yang tidak diinginkan untuk terjadi. Kesedihan yang berlebihan ketika ditinggal mati oleh seseorang tidak diperbolehkan dalam islam. Menangis meratap-ratap, hingga memukul-mukul badan dan merobek-robek kain adalah bentuk ketidak-relaan orang yang ditinggalkan akan takdir Allah.

Padahal kita harus sadar bahwa nyawa ini hanyalah titipan. Sang pemilik sebenarnya adalah Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala. Maka mengapakah kita mengais melolong-lolong ketika Sang pemilik mengambil apa yang menjadi milik-Nya.

Jadi sekali lagi, larangan wanita mengantar jenazah ke pekuburan adalah larangan yang tidak keras. Jika tidak bisa dihindari maka wanita boleh saja mengantarkan jenazah. Namun alangkah baiknya jika hal itu tidak dilakukan.
