Kisah nyata datang dari zaman Nabi, dimana ada seorang pemuda yang bernama Alqomah yang selalu rajin beribadah. Ia rajin sholat, puasa, sedekah, dan melakukan sholat-sholat sunnah. Ia tak pernah meninggalkan sholatnya, dalam keadaa apa pun.

Suatu hari, Alqomah jatuh sakit parah, lalu menurut salah satu sahabatnya, Alqomah sedang menghadapi sakaratul maut. Namun, para sahabatnya heran kenapa Alqomah tidak bisa mengucapkan lafadz syahadat saat akan menjelang kematiannya. Sepertinya lidah Alqomah telah terkunci untuk mengatakan lafadz syahadat.

Kemudian, sang istri meminta sahabat Alqomah untuk menemui Rasul dan mengabarkan keadaan Alqomah. Kemudian, sahabat Alqomah yaitu Bilal, Ali dan Ammar menemui Rasulullah dan menanyakan kenapa Alqomah yang rajin beribadah sulit mengucapkan lafadz, “laa illaha ilallah…”
Lalu Rasul pun bertanya, apakah Alqomah masih memiliki orangtua ? Bilal pun menjawab “ayahnya sudah meninggal, tapi ibunya masih hidup namun sudah tua renta”

Rasulullah pun meminta Bilal untuk menemui ibu Alqomah, dan menyampaikan salam dari Rasul. Jika ibu Alqomah bisa berjalan, maka suruhlah ia menemuiku, jika ia tidka bisa berjalan, maka aku yang akan menemuinya.

Bilal pun segera ke rumah ibu Alqomah dan menyampaikan salam Rasul. Ibu Alqomah pun memutuskan untuk menemui Rasul dengan dibantu tongkatnya itu untuk berjalan.

Sesampai didepan Rasul, Rasul pun langsung bertanya “Bisakah kau menceritakan keadaan Alqomah yang sebenarnya ? Kenapa ia kesulitan sekali mengucapkan Laa illaha Ilallah … Setahu saya Alqomah
adalah hamba yang rajin


beribadah.

Ibu Alqomah pun menjawab

dengan tegas, “Itu karena saya murka kepadanya wahai Rasul..
”
“Kenapaengkau murka kepadanya ?

Rasulullah pu menjawab

dengan penuh penasaran.
“Ini karena Alqomah lebih mementingkan istrinya dari


pada aku yang menjadi ibu kandungnya. Alqomah telah menyakitiku, ia berani menentangku demi untuk mengikuti keinginan istrinya.”

Rasulullah pun menganggukan kepalanya yang berarti ia mengerti kenapa Alqomah sulit mengucapkan “Laa illaha ilallah… Kemudian, Rasul pun menyuruh Bilal untuk mengumpulkan kayu api.

Namun, ibu Bilal mencegahnya dengan berkata, “Ya Rasulullah, kenapa engkau mau membakar anakku didepan mataku sendiri ??. Bagaimana perasaanku nanti melihatnya ?? Ibu yang mana tega melihat anaknya dibakar hidup-hidup didepan mata.

Rasulullah menjawab,” Wahai ibunda Alqomah, sejatinya siksa  dari Allah di akhirat sangatlah pedih. Amal Alqomah yang sudah ia kerjakan tidak akan mampu mengalahkan  murka yang engkau berikan.


Kebaikan yang dilakukan oleh Alqomah tidak akan mampu menahan sakitnya siksa neraka !
“Jika engkau ingin Alqomah selamat dari api neraka, maka maafkan lah kesalahannya”

Ibu Alqomah pun memaafkan kesalahan Alqomah, karena ia tidak ingin anaknya masuk api neraka. Mendengar hal itu, Rasulullah pun meminta Bilal untuk melihat kondisi Alqomah.

Saat sampai didepan pintu, Bilal mendengar Alqomah mengucapkan Laa illaha ilallah .. dengan lancar. Bilal pun segera masuk dan menceritakan apa yang telah terjadi.

Setelah itu, jenazah Alqomah langsung dimandikan dan disholatkan. Sebelum dimakamkan, Nabi Muhammad SAW menitipkan pesan :

“Wahai sahabat Muhajirin dan Anshar.  Siapa saja yang lebih mengutamakan istrinya dari pada ibunya, maka ia akan dilaknat Allah. Kecuali ia benar-benar bertaubat dan berbuat baik kepada ibunya dan meminta ridho dari ibunya.”

Masihkah kamu mendahulukan istri dari pada ibu, setelah mendengar kisah nyata dari zaman Rasulullah ini ??
