Salah satu surat di dalam Al-Quran yang memiliki banyak keutamaan ketika dibaca dan direnungi adalah surat Ar- Rahman.  Surat Ar-Rahman merupakan surat ke- 55 dalam Al-Quran. Surat ini tergolong dalam surat makkiyah, terdiri atas 78 ayat.  Dinamakan Ar-Rahman yang berarti Yang Maha Pemurah berasal dari kata Ar- Rahman yang terdapat pada ayat pertama surat ini.

Ar-Rahman adalah salah satu dari nama-nama Allah SWT. Isi dari sebagian besar surat ini menerangkan kepemurahan Allah SWT kepada para hamba-Nya, yakni dengan memberikan nikmat-nikmat yang tidak terhingga baik di dunia maupun di akhirat nanti.

Ada yang menarik dari surat Ar- Rahman, yaitu adanya pengulangan satu ayat yang berbunyi: “Fabiayyi ‘alla ‘irobbikuma tukadzdziban”  yang berarti “Maka nikmat Tuhanmu yang manakah yang kamu dustakan”. Ayat ini disebutkan dalam surat Ar-Rahman sebanyak 31 kali.  Pengulang ayat tersebut terdapat pada: ayat ke 13, 16, 18, 21, 23, 25, 28, 30, 32, 34, 36, 38, 40, 42, 45, 47, 49, 51, 53, 55, 57, 59, 61, 63, 65, 67, 69, 71, 73, 75, dan 77.

 Jika surat ini dikaji dari segi numerologinya, maka akan ditemukan keindahan rahasia yang ingin Allah sampaikan kepada kita terkait rasa syukur yang seharusnya dimiliki setiap jiwa.

Angka 31 jika dikaitan dengan surat ke 31 dalam Al-Quran maka akan ditemukan surat Luqman. Kita akan semakin takjub dengan isi dari ayat ke 31 dalam surat tersebut, berikut ini artinya: “Tidaklah engkau  memperhatikan bahwa sesungguhnya kapal itu berlayar di laut dengan nikmat Allah agar diperlihatkan-Nya kepadamu sebagian dari tanda-tanda (kebesaran)-Nya. Sungguh,  pada  yang demikian itu terdapat tanda-tanda (kebesaran)-Nya bagi setiap orang yang sangat sabar dan banyak bersyukur.”

Dua surat ini, tentu memiliki keterkaitan jika di kaitan dengan  kesyukuran. Allah SWT ingin menunjukan kepada kita bahwa kapal yang berlayar di lautan merupakan tanda kebersaran Allah berupa nikmat. Allah SWT ingin menegaskan bahwa manusia yang tidak memiliki perangkat untuk bisa berjalan di air, ternyata mampu melakukannya dengan perantara alat yaitu sebuah kapal yang mengapung di atas air.  Jika dikaitan ke surat Ar- Rahman, jadi nikmat Tuhan mana yang akan kita dustakan?

Dalam kalimat tersebut, menarik untuk diperhatikan bahwa Allah menggunakan kata dusta bukan ingkar. Dusta memiliki makna menyembunyikan kebenaran, sangat dekat dengan kesombongan yang sering kali menolak kebenaran dan menyepelekan hal lain kecuali kepentingan diri.

Sebagai contoh: Bukankah sebagian manusia bila mendapat uang banyak, lalu mereka akan berkata bahwa itu hasil kerja keras mereka sendiri? Padahal selalu ada campur tangan Allah SWT dalam setiap pencapaian yang didapatkan. Kalau kita sukses, apa karena kita yang giat bekerja, dan tekun?  Kalau kita sehat, jarang sakit, itu karena kita pandai menjaga makan dan rajin berolahraga?

Semua kenikamatan yang kita peroleh seakan-akan hanya karena usaha kita. Bahkan tanpa kita sadari kita lupa peranan Allah SWT di dalamnya. Sering kali kita sepelekan kehadiran Allah akan semua keberhasilan kita dan mendustakan bahwa sesungguhnya kenikmatan itu semuanya datang dari Allah SWT. Maka nikamat Tuhan mana lagi yang engkau dustakan? Allah SWT berfirman yang artinya:
“Dan jika kamu menghitung nikmat-nikmat Allah, niscaya kamu tidak akan sanggup menghitungnya” (QS. An-Nahl 16:18).

Sudah sepatutnya kita bersyukur kepada Allah SWT dan mengucapkan Alhamdulillah. Berhentilah mengeluh dalam kehidupan ini, jalani hidup ini dengnan rasa ikhlas sebagai bagian dari rasa syukur kita kepada Allah SWT.
