Islam menolak ketuhanan Yesus (Qs. Al Maaidah 72) dan mendudukan sebagai nabi, sedangkan KOS mengakui Yesus sebagai Tuhan.
Islam berkeyakinan bahwa Tuhan itu tidak punya Ayah & Ibu (Qs. Al Ikhlash 3), sedangkan KOS berkeyakinan adanya Tuhan bapak, tuhan anak dan tuhan ibu. Maria sebagai Walidatul ilah (Ibu Tuhan).
Islam memegang teguh kesucian nama & sifat Allah: Allah tidak beranak dan tidak diperanakkan, Allah Maha Mengetahui, Maha Kuat, Mha Melihat, Tidak tidur dan tidak serpa dengan makhlukya, dan sebagainya.
